Topic 3: Participating in Small Group Discussions in the U.S. Classroom 

 

Synopsis: 

In this session, we will talk about the importance of small group discussion in learning and in adjusting to the culture of education in the US. We will compare this with countries across the world, and focus on how small group work is done in the US. The workshop will utilize small group discussion as a means of practice as we learn about the mechanics of this common classroom activity.
